Senior Manager/Director - Sales & Business Development, UK Rail


Cyient is recruiting an enterprising candidate who can open doors, close deals, build and grow the engagement with strategic prospects in the UK rail sector such as infrastructure managers, TOCs, rail operators, network Rail, TOCs and other such as HS2/HS3 etc. Manager/ Director will be responsible for the sales and business development of our engineering solutions in the rail transportation industry. Manger/ Director is responsible to manage and grow an existing relationship with one of our emerging accounts in the rail sector based in London.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·        Identify potential new customers within the defined industry

·        Build and manage a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities

·        Manage existing/new customer relationships

·        Exhibit high levels of business acumen and ability to maintain customer executive relationships

·        Define & articulate value based solutions based on our rail transportation strategy

·        Prepare and present information to internal and external executives

·        Collaborate with global business units to create customer solutions

·        Close new business within the existing and new customers to exceed the assigned annual sales targets

·        Maintain high focus on generating orders and a strong sustaining revenue stream

·        Work with global operation teams to ensure delivery assurance to the customers

·        Maintain highest level of Customer Satisfaction

·        Create and maintain a geo and prospect

·        Develop and execute strategic plans resulting in customer focused business proposals and revenue generation meeting the assigned sales quota

Profile:


·      Bachelors/Master’s degree in engineering, technology or Management

·        Expertise in sales and business development experience predominantly in the rail sector

·        Exposure in managing businesses with rail operators and/or infrastructure managers

·        manage NEC contract based engagements

·        Expertise in selling collaboration models including global and/or offshore and develop and manage large accounts with demonstrated success

·        execution models would be preferred

·        Engineering & Manufacturing background is desirable

·        Self-motivated, self-aware, process driven, innovative thinker and proactive approach

·        Experience working with a CRM tool, preferably Salesforce.com

·        Ability to travel domestically as needed, with occasional international travel

·        Ability to work independently in a global environment

·        Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner.

·        Excellent verbal/written communication; interpersonal and presentation skills

·        Measure decision while demonstrating accountability and commitment to executions

·        Strong team player experienced in working within virtual and international teams
